Navigating Global Uncertainty
and Economic Growth

The LNG Producer Consumer Conference was launched in 2012 as a common platform for deepening cooperation between LNG producers and consumers and is a globally recognized international conference in the field of LNG. This 14th conference is the third to be co-hosted with the International Energy Agency (IEA).

In recent years, the global energy market has been facing an unprecedented period of turmoil. Since the 2022 energy crisis, the global LNG market has been structurally tight, and the future supply-demand balance is highly uncertain. Geopolitical risks, economic growth prospects, and the progress of clean energy development are the main factors contributing to this uncertainty. To address this uncertainty and meet the increasing energy demand driven by economic growth, while advancing energy security, affordable access to energy, and climate change mitigation in an integrated manner, natural gas and LNG will continue to play a crucial role. Ensuring the safe and stable supply of LNG requires indispensable cooperation between the public and private sectors. The LNGPCC serves as a platform to facilitate discussions between both sectors on the direction of future LNG initiatives.

The 14th LNG Producer Consumer Conference is co-hosted with the IEA and in collaboration with the Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition. Through this collaboration, we aim to facilitate multifaceted discussions on LNG, which continues to play a significant role in the energy mix.
